Cairo through a Photgraphers Lens

After spending time in Turkey, a country that acts as a bridge between Europe and Asia, now I am in Egypt, an African country that makes up a cultural bridge between the Middle East and Africa. It is very busy and exciting here with people out an active at all hours of the day and night. Within this very large and densley populated city are some of the most incredible sights in the World. Just on the outskirts of neihboring city Giza are the Great Pyramids. There is just too much to describe.
We are here in a very tense time as the current Palestinian-Israeli conflict has caused protestors here in Cairo to throw stones and burn flags at the Israeli and American embassys. As everyone knows the Middle East is like a political volcano and fortunatley has been somewhat dormant sinse the Persian Gulf Conflict. I fear that this situation is only going to get worse. I am not going to say how I feel about it either way, but it does bring up many issues for everybody in the World.
This will be my last journal entry as I will be heading back to the US and will later be meeting up with the pilots to document the end of their flight. Look for more of my photos to appear on the web page in the future and I hope you have enjoyed what you have seen and read.
