World Flight 2000 is entirely student and volunteer organized and run, and therefore,
outside help is critical to making the flight possible. Individual and corporate
sponsorship is necessary to cover expenses for the flight and for the educational
outreach involved.
World Flight 2000 is the product of dreams and determination. The four year project,
which began in 1996, is an educational project airmed at students throughout the globe.
From late July till October of this year, two 21 year old students will fly a restored
Aerocommander 560E around the world. They will reach over four continents and the flight will
involve children from over 20 countries via television, world-wide-web and email.
Throughout the flight, the cockpit will be connected to classrooms worldwide allowing
children from six continents to participate as "crew-members," turning the world into
a global classroom. (For more information on the educational aspects of the flight,
please go to our TEACHERS and THE FLIGHT pages.)
Sponsorship in several areas is still needed and your donation WILL help!

What do the World Flight Volunteers have to say about the flight?

but extremely worthy of all my time and efforts. I hope that it is worthy of yours also."

What are the goals of World Flight 2000?
We are trying to accomplish two things through this project.
By doing this we are trying to show kids to live out their dreams, no matter how big or small. To instill hope into their lives and give them living proof that some dreams do come true with hard
work, determination, and the will to get it done.
We also hope to educate kids in the importance of school and knowledge. To show them that staying in school proves to be the best idea or dream they could have. Also that through the proper educations absolutely anything can be
accomplished.
One last outcome of this project is for us to be the youngest
pilots to ahcieve this accomplishment of flying around the world. This is
on a more personal level and shows how we are trying to accomplish our hopes and dreams.
